Research
The goal of the Neonatal Brain Research Group is to understand the impact of preterm birth on the developing brain. Clinical studies include pharmacologic prevention to injury to the developing brain, structural, volumetric and functional MRI studies of developing brain (i.e., fetus, preterm infants, term infants, and 12 y o prematurely-born children), and long term neurodevelopmental outcome studies.
