Research
My primary area of interest is developmental neuroimaging in humans. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques provide non-invasive methods to study the changes in anatomy, metabolism and cerebral function during development in both animals and humans.
My research interest is in the application of NMR methods to the investigation of both normal physiology and pathological disorders in the immature nervous system. Particular interests are investigations of glucose and amino acid metabolism in epilepsy and neurogenetic disorders in both animal and humans.
