Diagnostic and Clinical Dimentions of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; Neurobiological Research of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder with an emphasis on: Fear Potentiated Acoustic Startle and its modification byexperimental manipulation. Neurohormone responses of humans exposed to uncontrollable stress; Consistency of memory for events experienced during exposure to highly intense stress. Clinical and Forensic Diagnostic Evaluations dealing with trauma and its effects. History of Medicine expertise with special emphasis on 20th century medicine: The construction of authoritative knowledge about combat fatigue (1940-1990).

Neurobiological profiles of soldiers participating in Special Operations. The Relationship between biological profiles and objectively assessed operational performance. Memory and cognition for events experienced during acute, uncontrollable stress.

Future Research: The impact of nutritional supplements on psychological,biological and performance indices of soldiers participating in Special Forces Selection and Assessment.

Industrial Relevance: A clearer understanding of the relationships between biological psychological and performance indices may significantly enhance our understanding about how to promote stress toughening and resilience in individuals who function in high risk arenas.
